Linens basic. The casino looks old even though there are some new machines. Prior to that you had to walk through the parking garage. It isn't. I will never go back and I can't believe parents would let their kids stay here. Oh well!!! Thanks Circus Circus. That was very enjoyable. The reservation and checkin processes were efficient, even after I had to change my plans. The only people getting waited on were table players. No room safes, either, but I believe there was an iron and hair dryer.{/INSERTKEYS}{/PARAGRAPH} Long lines can be found at Club One. At Foxwoods they practically give them away. There are so many dining options the worst part of the trip is where to eat. Coffee maker looked like it had been through the wars did not use and was in the bathroom gross. We were more than happy. The hotel caters to families with children and is a great inexpensive fun place to go. I highly recommend the main tower, as our friends had to walk daily from the sky tower. The bowling shuttle between the hotel and the arena stopped running before our shift of bowling was over. I got some assistance with our luggage and had a really nice and jovial young man helping us. There are a lot of little ones and not all parents watch their children, so if you can't tolerate young, noisy and sometimes unruly kids, don't stay here. Very smokey with no escaping it. Ended up having to pay for drinks at the bar. Myself and two teenage daughters have been staying here since We go every other year. Ribs were tough. She loved being able to see all circus acts and playing all the games. Early May is a great time to go. First thing that got us was the smell outside - I believe it was coming from the RV they probably have a dumping site that was down or something like that. Toiletries minimal. Check in: OK. We had a suite booked. We will be sure to book elsewhere in the years to come. Room: stained carpet. The staff is always friendly and accomodating. Service okay. I was pleased to find it was NOT decorated in circus colors. We bowl in Reno every three years. Okay, so the rooms are getting a little tired and when compared to all the glossier hotels in Las Vegas it's not as fine-tuned but you know, this was the hotel my 2 year old loved! Anyway he told me to looking around and he would wait. I had reserved a Manor room and hadn't realised it was a good 15 minute walk-away. We went on to stay at various other hotels but Circus Circus was the one that my daughter liked. Drink Girls were good. Americana: Good Food. They have a cheap motel and then two towers with nicer rooms. I ask around and people had been waiting over one hour to check in. The14th floor room was satisfactory, with no noise and adequate housekeeping. The rooms were fine, but a little dingy. The tram makes for a nice ride to your building, but it is quicker to walk. Casino: Tight. Steak House: Marginal food. I saw 12 year old walking around with kids under 5 and no parents around apparently they allow this. Anyway a kids hotel should also have a kidsquest or something like it! Check out: OK with the exception of the comp issue that was previously mentioned. We love everything about it. I spent two nights in Reno on business in mid-April and chose CircusCircus because of their competitive rates. Even if you don't win they will give you one - they don't want to make money on that they want to make money on the gambling! Communication is a problem here. We arrived at about 11pm and the entire lobby was empty so I checked in immediately. The housekeeping staff is always available for extra towels and pillows. This is the last casino on the old MB Club One system. I told my husband right there that we should leave who would wait and hour or longer to check into a hotel? We were told this was a great hotel for families with kids. Motel quality amenities. We stayed there in April for the national bowling tournament. We walked in here on a Monday for a weeks stay. {PARAGRAPH}{INSERTKEYS}This was our 5th trip to Circus Circus. Mildew in the shower seams. I get tons of offers from Peppermill, Harrah's, etc. I fear for the safety of these young kids. TV would cut out every so often for no reason. Don't be in a hurry though. I met a couple who showed me their suite it was the same as ours and it wasn't up to par. In LAS on Club One you could do this but the system here is so old they say they can't do multiple comps on one room. Whose bright idea was that when you are in the city hosting the national bowling tournament? I assume this is to discourage patrons from skulking in their rooms when they should be down in the casino gambling and giving more of their money to the hotel. Review: - beds were okay. The waitress service in the casino is terrible at best. We have always stayed at this amazing hotel. The Amusment Park is ok, nothing special but nice that it's indoors. I also saw parents playing slots and children standing a few feet away where was security? When we finally got to the room it had been used and not cleaned Our bell boy immediately made a few calls and got us a great room in the West Tower. Kids linger in the hallways because they are bored so they have a tendency to run which can be bothersome for late sleepers. Service was attentive but slow. Warning: you can not pool Club One comps even if you are staying in the same room! We sat in front of the bar to play slots and never saw a waitress. Floor feels like it is moving from the tram which is distracting. The rest of the staff we encountered were ambiguous or hurried. The location is incredible. No coffeemaker, fridge, or microwave. The circus acts were nice and the games were cute but they make it too hard to win the stuffed animals. So anyway we walk in the front door and there is this line with honestly over people waiting on line. We walked around and the place is old - the carpet is dirty and worn in. Window would not open. We didn't bother checking in and cancelled the charges and stayed off the strip at one of the Sunset Casino, spa's with a kidsquest and got a much nicer room, better safety, clean rooms, clean floors. They were completing the indoor walkway last year. We had to carry bowling equipment three blocks past the bus terminal at a. Are you kidding me?
